Landscape Maintenance

Landscape Maintenance & Lawn Care Across Snohomish & King County, WA

A landscape is not finished when the crew leaves. Beds need mulch, hedges need shaping, irrigation needs adjusting as planting fills in, and the system needs blowing out before the first hard freeze. Maintenance is what keeps the money you already spent on the build from quietly draining away.

Grizzly maintains landscapes we built and landscapes we did not. Either way the schedule is set around what your property actually needs through the year, not a fixed calendar applied to every yard on the route.

What Maintenance Covers

Every Part of Keeping a Landscape Right

01

Mowing & Lawn Care

Cutting at the right height for the season rather than the lowest setting that buys another week. Scalped grass is what invites the moss and weeds people then ask us to treat.

02

Pruning & Hedge Shaping

Trees, shrubs and hedges cut to shape and timed to the plant. Prune the wrong species at the wrong time of year and you trade a season of flowering for a tidy afternoon.

03

Mulching & Bed Maintenance

Fresh mulch at the right depth holds moisture, suppresses weeds and keeps beds reading as intentional. Piled against trunks it does the opposite, so we keep it clear of the crown.

04

Weed Control

Weeds are usually a symptom. Thin turf, compacted soil or a bed with no mulch layer will keep producing them, so we treat what is there and then deal with why it keeps coming back.

05

Seasonal Cleanups

Leaf and debris clearance, cutting back spent growth, and clearing the drainage paths and catch basins before the wet months rather than after the water has already backed up.

06

Irrigation Maintenance

Head adjustment, broken lines, leaking valves, controller schedules, and winter blow-outs before the first hard freeze. Water left in the lines splits pipe and backflow devices.

How We Schedule It

Built Around Your Property, Not a Route

A maintenance plan that treats every yard identically is a plan built for the crew's convenience. Yours has its own sun, its own drainage and its own planting, and those decide what needs doing and when.

  • A walkthrough first, so the plan matches the planting that is actually there
  • Visit frequency set by the property, not a fixed package
  • Seasonal work timed to the plants rather than the calendar
  • The same crew, so nobody has to relearn the yard each visit

Maintenance on Work We Did Not Build

Plenty of the landscapes we maintain were installed by someone else. That is fine — but it changes the first visit, because we have to find out where the irrigation runs and what the beds were planted for before we start cutting anything.

Where we find something built wrong, we will tell you straight. If repeatedly repairing a zone is costing more than replacing it properly, that is worth knowing early rather than paying for it twice.
