Excavation

Excavation & Site Preparation Across Snohomish & King County, WA

Excavation is the part of a project nobody photographs and everybody pays for twice if it is done badly. Site prep, grading, trenching and small-scale demolition — the groundwork that decides whether everything built on top of it stays where you put it.

Our own crew runs the machines. Excavation is not subcontracted out, which means the people who set the grade are the same people who have to build on it — and that tends to concentrate the mind.

How We Approach It

Groundwork Decides the Finish

Get the grade and the base wrong and no amount of good finish work will save the project. A settled patio, a wall leaning after two winters, a lawn that will not drain — the cause is nearly always something that happened before any of it was visible.

  • Call 811 and get utilities located before anything is dug
  • Work out where the water goes before changing the grade
  • Plan the machine route and protect what is staying
  • Agree where the spoil is going before the first bucket comes out

One Crew, One Mobilisation

We do not subcontract the digging. That matters mostly for sequencing: getting a machine onto a property is the expensive part, so while the ground is open we put in everything that belongs underground — drain runs, irrigation mainlines, lighting cable, sleeves under future paving.

The alternative is paying for a second mobilisation, and cutting a trench back through work that was only just finished. Worth planning even the phases you are not building yet.

Where We Work

Our Puget Sound Service Area

From our base in Lynnwood we work across thirty cities in both counties. What counts as a land disturbance needing a permit, and where spoil and broken concrete may legally be taken, both change between jurisdictions — worth settling before the machine is booked rather than after.

How It Works

Get Started Today

01

Contact Us

Send the form or call (425) 648-9443 and describe what needs to come out or be moved. Photos of the access route — the gate, the side yard, the driveway — tell us more than photos of the work area itself.

02

Free Consultation

We walk the property, measure the access, work out what size machine can actually get in, check where the water and the utilities run, and agree where the spoil goes before quoting anything.

03

We Dig It

Our own crew runs the machines, backfills and compacts as it goes, and leaves the site graded and tidy — ready for whatever is being built on top, whether that is our work or somebody else's.

Let us build the outdoor space you deserve.
